My sons father who is the noncustodial parent receives SSDI and benefits for my son. And now wants the Support order closed. But also owes back Support. I contacted SSDI and recently became the Payee for my son. Now he received a lump sum for my son. Which i did not see. And we go back to Court and he is trying to make an agreement. Do I have to accept an agreement or do i in PA in Montgomery Co. Entitled to the benefits for my son. Who lives with me.

The response is what I was expecting it to be. You ex-husband must be an idiot to think he should benefit by getting child support reduced when you are the one disabled and therefore bringing home an auxillary check toward your child based on your income and your earning power.
